Where nature meets heritage

About

About Navidad

Navidad Gardens was born from a single vision, to create spaces in Uganda where people could truly escape, connect with nature, and feel the richness of this country’s countryside.

Owned by one individual with a passion for hospitality and heritage, Navidad grew into two distinct branches. The Mukono branch came first, a garden venue close to Kampala for events, day retreats, and dining. Then came Lwamata, the more personal and immersive of the two: a proper country home with a working coffee farm, ancient hiking trails, a cattle corridor, and a museum that preserves the stories of the land.

The name Navidad, meaning  “birth” in Spanish, speaks to new beginnings, warmth, and togetherness. That’s exactly what we set out to create here.

What We Stand For

Nature First

Every space at Navidad is built around not against, the natural environment. We preserve, celebrate, and share the beauty of Uganda's landscapes.

Genuine Hospitality

We welcome every guest the Ugandan way warmly, personally, and with genuine care. From the moment you arrive, Navidad feels like home.

Cultural Heritage

The Cultural Heritage in Lwamata , the cattle corridor, the coffee traditions, we believe in keeping the memory of this land alive for every generation.

Same family, two experiences

Navidad Gardens Mukono

Located just outside Kampala, Mukono is Navidad’s urban escape. A well-maintained garden estate ideal for events, dining, conferences, and leisure. The natural setting makes it one of the most sought-after garden venues in the region.

Navidad Gardens Lwamata

Lwamata is the heartbeat of Navidad. A proper African country home set in open countryside, with a working coffee farm, cattle corridor, hiking trails through the hills, and a heritage museum that tells the story of this place and its people.
